“Do you understand that your quality of life and your survival are tied to how authentic and generous the connections are between you and the people and place you live with and in?”
Three Days.
50 People.
Real Connection.
Larger systems are collapsing. This weekend brings, us, people of the Quimper and North Olympic Peninsulas, together to talk, party, and step into imagining what is possible. We will get creative and face the current reality and inquire and explore our contributions for this time. Through connection and inspiration, we'll explore our visions, skills, and collective capacities to create life-giving work right here at home.
What to Expect
An awesome group of people. It will feel more like a weekend party and less like a conference. We’ll move between getting inspired by local and regional speakers , and creating our own Open Space conversations. Meeting and talking with folks you know and are meeting for the first time. You'll get to talk about your ideas, imaginings and what matters most to you.
The outcomes won't be concrete like task forces or reports—but will still be very real things like time for testing ideas, finding collaborators, making friends, having conversations that shift how you see things, expressing creativity, finding hope, laughing, dancing. The kind of connections and energy that can actually change how we live.
We'll explore what matters most and may touch on these topics:
Housing and affordability • Climate resilience • Community connection • Local food systems • Political depolarization • Economic justice • Environmental stewardship
You are being invited because…
You are among the people who are already doing the work—even in small ways. You bring goodwill, humility, and care to what you do. You're ready for real conversations and you know that if we are going to step into the unknown, and the impossible, we have to do it together, with joy. You believe in our local and regional community has a meaningful response to the unraveling around us. You want to connect with neighbors who give a damn. You know that creativity and connection is resistance. You can hold the idea that the process IS the product and that quality connections are foundational to adapting and thriving.
